What Leads To Rectal Bleeding And Pain In Lower Back And Abdomen?

I have rectal bleeding, bright red in color, lower left abdominal pain and lower back pain, lots of gas, I have constipation or diarrhea. All the time. My GP found a mass in my rectum, she it feli cauliflower like or du gated. The emergency room Dr. felt no mass but found lots of blood, cat scan was negative. But the pain and blood is still there.

Hello,

You may need to do a colonoscopy which is the preferred method to examine the mass on colon. Biopsy may be performed if mass is seen.
