What Leads To Urination And Bowel Movement At The Same Time While Having Prostate Cancer?

My husband had seed implants 2 yrs. ago, but cancer has returned to prostate, lymph nodes (painful), and rectum. Without a catheter he cannot pee nor have a BM. Is the blockage in rectum also causing blockage in urethra? What is causing him to urinate and do a BM simultaneously? The pain is unbearable. Stool is diarrhea and leaks out. He has had a turp a month ago but still can t pee so pressure builds up and causes pain.. What can be done? What is the prognosis and life span in such patients? What tx options have been used? He is afraid to eat and drink for fear of back-up problems, losing weight, very weak from chemo and radiation.

This mass leads to pressure symptoms, please once consult urologist and oncologist together. If possible surgical removal, then only these symptoms will go, it needs AIIMS Or PGI reference center or abroad like at Harvard University.
