What Led To A Knot On My Head Followed By A Headache?
I was laying in bed, rubbed over my head and discovered a quarter sized knot that was so tender you could not even put your hand next to it, I got worried and tried to show someone next to me and it literally disappeared. No tenderness or anything anymore and it has been a few minutes however I do now have a headache. The pain ranged from my left eye to the left corner of my head. The knot was right beside or maybe even on my temple.
Hello, Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.
I have gone through the query and feel that you have a cyst. A cyst is a type of sweat pore that gets clogged up and the sweat inside the pore gets infected. This will cause there to be a lot of pain in the area.
You should get examined by a surgeon who will confirm the cause and then manage this by doing a Incision an Drainage. This will help you get rid of the problem.
All the best and wish you a quick recovery. Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further. Dr Vignan
