General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

You have been using levothyroxine medication and now it is not effective as per history. I want to know your TSH value to guide you further regarding dosage of levothyroxine. Your dose might not be sufficient to help in hypothyroidism. So you can increase dose of levothyroxine until tsh falls within range and than low maintainance dose can be prescribed. Kindly attach your reports for giving more comment.

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards. Dr Parth
