What May Be The Life Expectancy Of A Diabetic Female With Dilated Cardiomyopathy?

Hi Just wanting to know what my prognosis or life expectancy might be with the following - i have Dilated Cardiomyopathy with Left Ventrical at 13% EF and Right Atrium 14%. My valve or nuscle LV is also leaky. I was hospitalized in August for severe congestive heart failure for the first time. I am also Diabetic Type 2. Female 56, 210 lbs, 5ft.6in. quit smoking 2 months ago but still have occasional cigarette. alcohol a couple of drinks every couple of months

I understand your concern

If you are asymptomatic at present then you are doing well for yourself . However the prognosis remains guarded.Do not risk yourself with any unwarranted activity , undue stress, take regular medicines input/output monitoring and diabetic control you should do well
