What May Happen If Stress Test Reveals That Only 40% Heart Is Working?

hello ,my husband had a stress test because he was having chest pain and we found out he has 40% of his heart working .we had test done with his MD we are trying to get it scheduled with cardiologist . please give me some in site in what might happen

Hi,
From history it seems that your husband might be having some vascular insufficiency leading to some coronary vessel block giving rise to poor cardiac function.
Consult cardiologist and get him investigated.
Angiography and Echo test will give important information about his problem.
After investigations, plan of treatment can be decided.
