What Measures Need To Taken After A Prolonged Delay In Periods?

Hello, i had my last period in July 8-10 . Did a lot of travel after that and right now i am in the middle east where the weather is really hot. I missed my period this time. Usually when there is a change in weather the period comes a week late but this time its crossed 10 days. Could this be due to pregnancy?

Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, the first possibility of missed periods is pregnancy so I would recommend you to get blood pregnancy test done as it can pick up the slightest possibility of being pregnant. In case it comes out to be negative then we need to proceed to other causes like polycystic ovarian disease and need to get hormonal assay and ultrasound pelvis to be done.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
