Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

Before deciding what treatment to suggest for dIabetes, some more information is needed;

- What is your last HBA1c level?
- Your age, weight and height.
- The liver and renal function
- Are you being treated for any disease actually?

If you do not have symptoms suggestive of under active thyroid and FT4, FT3 are within the normal ranges, you need to monitor closely TSH without starting treatment. Physical activity is suggested to raise HDL level.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Dr. Mirjeta
