What Medication Is Suggested For Cough And Cold?

Okay so I had a bad cold, an then it turned into a cough and now the cough has kinda gone away and at night I wake up and my throat hurts so bad. I'm unable to swallow and I can't drink anything. Every time I try to swallow my own slivia I wanna cry because of the pain. What is this?

Throat infections are the most common cause of sore throats. Viral infection is more common than bacterial but based on the length of time that you are having pain and the intensity, it may be a bacterial infection.

You may need to visit your doctor to see if antibiotics are needed.

In addition the use of oral sprays, gargles or lozenges would help to relieve the pain.
Examples are soluble aspirin, chloroseptic, diflam, bethadine
