What Medication Is Suggested For Hiatus Hernia?

Hi I had an endoscopy recently from which was diagnosed a hiatus hernia. i am 44 year old female. Since the procedure i was prescribed nexium 40 for 6 weeks. After about 3 weeks i developed intermittant dizziness. I finished the nexium course hoping that when i did so the dizziness would stop, as i know that i was a big dose and could have been a side effect. however it is 4 weeks since i stopped taking it and i still have the dizziness. my doctor prescribed byvertin 8 which i have been on for 3 weeks but its not really working,. I am quite tired alot and am wondering if i could have developed a middle ear infection during the endoscopy ?.
