What Medication Is Suggested For Internal Injuries After Accidentally Swallowing A Chicken Bone?

I swallowed a small chicken bone about an hour ago. At first it was stuck in my throat and sticking me, but it finally went down. Now it doesn't hurt but where it was stuck feels uncomfortable. It could be that it turned and is still in the same place but not poking me. Should I worry?

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have internal injuries after accidentally swallowing a chicken bone which is acting as foreign body there. It will cause accumulation of bacteria and debris and giving you pinched sensation type feel and this bone has some hard and sharp thing that had gone inside giving small abrasion in food pipe. If there is only abrasions then your symptom will resolve in 24 hours and you need not to worry about that. If you are having any foreign body in throat then your problem keeps on persisting and visit ENT specialist immediately. Go for fibro-optic scan and with the help of fibrooptic tip get that foreign object removed which is causing problem. Do warm saline gargles and maintain basic oral hygiene.
