What Medication Is Suggested For Testicular Bleeding?
I had testicular bleeding in the shower with no other symptoms---no pain, no lumps or anything else. It was totally unexpected and I had never had anything like this before. It took me about 15 minutes to stop the bleeding and it has not recurred since. Why do you think this happened?
Hi. I think this is a bleeding from the scrotal skin you are talking about. The probable cause can be opening of a bleeding point like granuloma pyogenicum or a tortuous blood vessel. It is good that there is no bleeding now. I would advise you to consult a General Surgeon to a check up, to examine the bleeding spot, cauterization or a simple stitch to avoid further recurrence. Apply liquid Povidone iodine if you have at home.
Hi. Thanks for your query. This is called bleeding from the scrotum and not the testicle. The cause of the bleeding from the Scrotal skin is as follows: Due to the inherent wrinkling of the scrotal skin, and accumulation of sweat, almost always covered situation, one tends to itch it particularly in the night. Repeated itching causes the blood vessels exposed and can form small hemangiomas. Once exposed they can bleed even on trivial trauma. It looks this is what happened during bathing as you must have tried to clean and rub over the scrotal skin. Nothing to worry, just consult a Doctor to confirm the diagnosis and need to see if anything need to be done .
