What Medicines Can Be Given For Cough And Cold To ADHD Suffering Child?

I am caring for a 9 year old girl who has a cough, nose is stopped up, & tired (flu like symptoms with a very slight fever, if any). She is telling me she can t take anything because she takes med for ADHD. Is this true and what can i give her? Childrens Motrin? Thanks, Laura

Hi Laura,
for the baby I feel that these symptoms are mostly due to viral reason , and being on medication for ADHD is not contraindication to start her on the fallowing drugs: Prospan syrup 5ml three times daily(for cough removal )+ Zyrtic syrup 5ml three times per day(as an anti histamine to decrease cough and runny nose)+ paracethamol 5ml three times per day(in case there is fever)
