What Method Is Used To Remove Subaceous Cyst From Right Temple?

I just seen a nurse practicioner and tried to get my subaceous cyst removed on my right side of my temple. She did not remove it because she was afraid of any nerves that she may damage, would you remove it? She also said medical would not cover it, is this true?

Hi

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum

It is always better to get the sebaceous cyst removed from a doctor. If the cyst remnants are left in place, then the chances of recurring of the same are more. Very few insurance companies cover this surgical procedure. Check out with your insurance company and speak to the doctor before getting it excised.

Wish you good health

Regards
