Hi,

Some amount of blood or blood mixed red or brown urine is very much normal, after procedure of lithotripsy. This bleeding is generally due to fragments / pieces of stones, may cause, some micro-injury to the lining of urinary tract, while passing thru the urinary tract. Usually this type of bleeding is self limiting and gradually becomes less and subsides completely on its own, without any specific treatment.

However, if bleeding is heavy, persists for a long time, if it is very painful, then you are advised to see your doctor regarding this and treatment done accordingly. One of the worrisome cause of bleeding, though rarely is, injury to the kidney tissue, which may cause a heavy bleeding and may need definite treatment by hospitalization.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
