What Might Cause Greenish Urination During Pregnancy?

Hello, I am 32 years old week 8 in my pregnancy. I noticed today a light green urine. I must add I did not eat any special food that might cause this and I am taking prenatal vitamin for more than 2 weeks now. I am a little scared. Could you please explain this. Thank you.

A greenish tint to the urine is quite unusual. I think that this is, in fact, most likely related to a change in diet OR the addition of your prenatal vitamin. It is not typically a sign of infection, but you need to go in to get your urine checked by your doctor just to be sure.

The other possibility is that this is related to a vaginal infection with contamination of the urine when urinating.
