What Mild Could Chest Pain With Dizziness Suggest?

I am a 54 yo female, and in good health. No history of any health problems at all and I'm not on any daily medication. However, i have a family history of heart problems. For the past two days I have been having a mild, dull pain in my left chest area. I can't really say it is pain, but more discomfort. I am also having episodes of dizziness, especially when the discomfort is more severe. This has happened three or four times in the past 24 hours. Could this be my heart?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, these symptoms can be due to cardiac (heart related) diseases.
Yoi are above 50 and have strong family history of heart diseases, so we should first rule out heart diseases in your case.. So consult cardiologist and get done blood pressure monitoring, ecg, 2d echo and stress test.
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
