Hello,
You can wait for 21 days after you had last unprotected sex and then have
pregnancy tests done. If the test report is positive, you can get clinically examined by a gynecologist for confirmation and accordingly you will be managed. If you are not pregnant, then your gynecologist will tell you to do certain blood tests like CBC, T3, T4,
TSH, Hb%, hormone test, etc., along with a few imaging tests. Get it done.
Your treatment will depend on the diagnosis made. Any underlying disease will be treated, and your periods will be induced by medicines. In the meantime, reduce
stress, take iron rich food, take protein. Stay away from addictions (alcohol, drugs,
smoking).
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
