What Need To Be Done After Skipping A Contraceptive Pill?

I have been taking contraceptive pills for 6 months already but yesterday I forgot to start my new pack. It was due yesterday. Since I remembered this morning, I took one pill. But should I take 2 pills for today to make up the pill that I did not take yesterday? Or should I just leave it with one pill and have a new cycle time?

Hello and welcome.

Either option is fine, whatever suits your comfort. If you wish to start a new cycle let don't take the extra pill. But if you wish to continue with the same dates then you can take 2 pills. Either option will be fine with any doctor including your prescribing doctor.

Best wishes
