Hello, Welcome to HCM, There a number of different causes of the sensation of a lump stuck in your throat. Most common causes are 1.Chronic sinusdrainage or nasal allergies will often cause dripping of mucus down the back of the throat and can feel like a "lump" in the back of the throat. 2.Inflammation of the tonsils can cause this sensation. 3.Heartburn or acid reflux. The symptoms may be due to inflamed tonsils leading to increased pressure in the ears by blocking the eustachian tube. I do suggest that you go to see your doctor to talk about this issue and your doctor can perform a complete examination and help you figure out what might be going on. Thank you.
