gud afternoon sir my self Dr.Jabjn,mjar . m suffering frm HBV infection(carrier) since 2007 my question are 1. it will be negative or not 2.what r the precation for me3. kya marriage kar sakta hu ya ni agr ye positive rha to wht r precaution should be take for my partner?

HBV carrier state persists for life. However, the infectivity of a carrier is very less as compared to those who have an acute HBV infection in those who have detectable Anti-HBe antibodies and are e-antigen negative.
Since HBV can be transmitted sexually to your prospective wife, therefore it is advisable that your future wife is adequately protected against HBV with HBV vaccine.
The Hepatitis B vaccine is safe and effective and is usually given as 3-4 shots over a 6-month period and is mandatory for people whose sex partners have Hepatitis B to reduce the risk of sexual transmission
