What Precaution Should I Take After An Eye Surgery?

Hi How are you?.... I need your help... I have problem in SPH Right eye -1.00 Left eye -1.25. I don t like to wear glass and leances.. I wanna do my eye surgery... Can you suggest me what type of surgery will be good for eye in this problem ? what the procedure for it, how long it s take time... What should I need to be careful when surgery completed ... Hello,

Yes, you can undergo LASIK surgery , if your eyes are found to be fit. The dilated eye exam should reveal a healthy retina, the corneal thickness should be good and the power of the glasses should be stable with no change for the past 18-24 months and you should be above 18 years of age.
The procedure is done under anaesthesia eye drops, can last about 10-30 mintues. You will be followed up the next day and advised two kind of eye drops for 4-6 weeks. Continue with lubricating eye drops for 6-12 months to avoid dry eyes.
During surgery just follow your surgeon's instruction and fix the gaze exactly at the fixation point and do not move your eye at all. You need to take care of these few things only.
