hi sir my son XRAY PNS SHOWS Both maxillary antra are hazy-bilateral maxillary siniusitis.
XRAY SOFT TISSU NECK LAT showsskiagram shos partial obliteration of posterior
nasophyryngeal space by soft tissue mass.This is due to enlarged adenoids.
sir what deos that all mean.pls elaborate and precations and diet.

Hello,
YOu son has x ray PNS showing opacity that means there is infection and fluid collection in the sinuses. There is enlarged adenoids also.
YOu have not mentioned the age of your son.
It is because of the adenoid enlargement that the sinuses are developing the infection .
The adenoids are for the immune system safety but if enlarged are of no use after the age of 7years.
YOu should consult your ENT specilist and get it operated. ie surgical removal of adenoids.
