1. As you are in the last Trimester [III] of pregnancy, thus my Advice for you or to my patient(s) are:

A. DURING PREGNANCY

- Due to the pregnancy hormone 'progesterone,' it causes the feeling of fullness [bloating/burping] since it slows down the digestion and decreases gastric emptying, so do not get tempted to eat.

2. In last trimester, do keep a check on the following parameters:
. Hb gm%
. swelling of legs [out of proportion] and high blood pressure.
. convulsions
. painful/painless IIIrd trimester bleeding and if experience any of the said then immediately contact your gynecologist for further management

3. In Ayurveda what happens during 6th & 7th month is: mother loses her strength and complexion and may become deficient in all aspects of her health so what I usually tell my female patient(s) or mothers and father-to-be [who have some basic knowledge of Ayurveda] are:

i. Apana Vayu has to be kept in balance thus eat plant-based sprouted or whole grains and non processed.
. well, balanced, healthy and nutritious food is mandatory, i.e. eat what you desire BUT prefer cooked food [easy to digest], dark-leafy vegetables, carrot, whole milk, butter, yogurt, honey, olive oil, ghee, fennel, cumin, ginger, green gram, blanched almonds.
. avoid pungent,bitter and astringent taste,meat,eggs,alcohol,mushrooms, onion,garlic, old cheese,fermented food,peanuts,undercooked/uncooked lentils-beans- which can cause gas
. make sure to take the main meal at noon, avoid overeating, and there should be a gap of 3 hours between two meals [always sit down while eating]
. one can take rice gruel with clarified butter.
. try sleeping in a semi-reclining position

4. Consult a nutritionist, and your attending obstetrician about your health
and follow the dietary recommendations of your nutritionist or OB-GYN, including prescriptions for vitamins.

B. AFTER PREGNANCY

- postpartum constipation is a common problem for which
. purgation with olive oil is free from side effects.
. do exercise which increases the tone of abdominal muscles and stimulates peristalsis like:
. Straight leg raising
. Scissor kicks
. Sit-ups
. Walking, jogging

PS. For detailed comprehensive/exhaustive list of problems occurring after pregnancy, kindly consult your attending physician and consult your doctor before starting or changing any dietary/exercise regime and safe medicines which you can use.
