What Precautions Should Be Taken If One Has Placenta Previa?

Hi, I am 18 weeks and just went into the ER the other night because I have has non stop vomiting and diarrhea, they did a US and found out I also, on top of already having a high risk pregnancy, have placenta privia, I am worried about the fact of being so ill it s causing contractions and mass amounts of pain, I m not sure what to do, the dr just rushed me in and out with out explaining anything, this is my 5 and in the past year prior to conceiving her we had 5 miscarrages, I m really worried, any advise would be greatly apricated

Hi..don't worry.. After reading you if I would be your doctor then would treat your vomiting & diarrhoea which cause you abdominal pain & contractions with injections after admitting you..would prefer to give you injection isoxsuprine to relax your uterus under my observation as this is precious pregnancy for you..
