What Precautions Should Be Taken In Case Of Anaphylaxis Shock?

My husband is 47, takes 10 mg of Lisinopril for high blood pressure (has taken for about 2 1/2 months), and allergies to beef and pork (began about 6 months ago). This morning he had an allergic reaction after eating turkey bacon and eggs, and went into anaphylaxis shock. I gave him Benedryl and a dose of his epipen and headed to the hospital. He would not go to the hospital as the swelling in his face started to subside while we were enroute (20 minutes). His blood pressure is staying in the 130-150/95 range, but his heart rate is staying 102-104. I took these readings with a electric blood pressure machine. It has been about 10 hrs since his reaction. I'm watching him closely, but am very concerned. Any suggestions?
