What Precautions Should Be Taken To Avoid Recurring Slip Disc?

i am suffering from slipdisc as i was opperated for my slip disc 6years before but after an year i got again a slip disc i.e, l3 & l4 but i was opperated for l5 & l6 after that i have taken ayurveda massage whic got cured but after 5 years i am again suffering for the same what precaution should i have taken within this period and for future? Pls help me out
