Hi, I am married and planning for a baby from couple of months. I am 29 years old and never miss my periods. My last period was on 15th November. I took Prega News pregnancy test yesterday and it stood up as very dark pink line on "C" and light pink on "T". Later say after 15 minutes I saw it again and it was dark. I took the test again today and had the same result. My question, Am I really pregnant or have to wait for sometime to make it sure. Secondly, if I am then do I need to take any certain precautions? Since, I am afraid of miscarriage and do not want to take any chance.
If you people had sex during the fertile period then you might be pregnant. Even a faint line in home pregnancy test is taken as positive. It is not necessary to get a dark line for diagnosis of pregnancy. If you are still in doubt then try another home pregnancy test after a week using early morning urine sample, you may get dark lines. I suggest you to consult a obstetrician at this stage. She will examine and may order some tests to confirm pregnancy. Don't take any self medication at this time. Eat nutritious food, take rest, relax. If you have history of previous miscarriage then you have to be more careful this time. Avoid unnecessary long distance journey
