General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

Meprate contains medroxyprogesterone available as 10 mg tablet. It is generally taken twice or thrice daily after food for 7 to 10 days based on the diagnosis.

Other causes of irregular periods such as hypothyroidism should be ruled out.

Kindly take the drug after your doctor approval since side effects can occur.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
