What Relieves The Difficulty In Breathing And Itching In Throat?

Hello, I realize it was a bad idea, But i ate some deep fried fries all the while im on teva-rabeprazole, iv been taking it since the 26th, since i ate a few hours ago, i ve had a bit of difficulty breathing, now its result to a scratch in my throat and me coughing, whats the best thing to do now?

Hello,
welcome to HCM,
As you are having acid peptic disease (APD), for which you are on rabeprazole treatment.
The fried and oily food will irritates the lower esophageal and gastric mucosa leading to regurgitation of the acid from the stomach.
Regurgitation will causes itching in the throat and also difficulty in breathing.
Difficulty in breathing is mainly due to coughing caused by the gastric content.
