What Risks Are Associated With Thick Uterine Walls?

I am 54 years old, my height is 5'6, weight 145lbs and healthy

My OBGYN says that one of my uterous walls are thicker than usual for a person who is in Menopause. She has prescribed Primolut Nor 5MG 2x day. I am scared of taking this pill since I try to avoid medication whenever not necessary. What are the dangers of this symptom of my uterous wall thickening.

Also, what are the side effects if taking this medication. I am afraid of weight increase Thanks
