What S Causing Constant Headaches When CT Shows Sphenoid Polyp, Mri Shows Thickening Of Dura?

FOr the past month i have been suffering from headaches ranging from dull throb to debilitating. I am never without headache. CT scan shows sphenoid polyp. Mri shows thickening of dura. I see neurologist on Wednesday. What should I expect? I go to ER for Dilaudid shots when excruciating and take Fioricet and Flexiril regularly. Also neck pain if i hold my head upright.

i think in ur case cause of headache is sphenoid polyp. In that case u should for surgery rather than taking dilaudid shot. U can carry on fioricet and flexiril, it will give u symptomatic relief. rest there are multiple causes for thickening of dura like inflammatory conditions , neoplastic disorders , collagen vascular disorders etc, but u do not have any of symptom related to them.
