What Should I Do About A Cotton Ball Getting Stuck In My Vagina While Cleaning An Infection?

Hi ! I was cleaning my vagina because it was itching nd I have some kind of infection I guess as my discharge was having no smell but was thick I tried to clean with a small cotton ball but it got stuck in my vagina,can t able to find out it s still there what I can do now?? I don t want to go to a doctor nd also not want to tell this to my parents

Hello,

Since you were itching and also have discharge, it may not be just cotton, you already have an infection (yeast infection). Trying to remove it yourself may cause the cotton ball to get stuck deeper. Be careful, try bearing down (like when passing stool or urine). This will help to push the cotton ball closer to the opening. Do not use any sharp objects or make forceful attempts as it can cause internal injury.

If you fail to remove it or are unsure as your fingers don't reach it, just stop. Since it's not only about the cotton ball, but you also already have an infection, you are advised to get clinically examined by a Gynae so that the cotton ball stuck up there can be easily & painlessly removed and infection treated. The health care professionals maintain privacy and confidentiality so there is no need to hesitate, many come with tampons stuck up like that. Relax and get treated at the earliest.
