What Should I Do After A CT UTS?

I just had a CT UTS. The results came back with Mild abdominal aortic atherosclerotic calcifications with no evidence of aneurysm and multiple small foci of calcifications within the spleen consisitent with prior granulomatous disease. What should I do next?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

There is no need to worry. The small calcifications in spleen are due to an earlier condition which may have taken place months to years ago. There is no problem with the abdominal aorta if thats the reason CT scan was done. Atherosclerotic calcifications are seen in the elderly. You may get a blood cholesterol test done and discuss with your doctor.
