What Should I Do For My Severe Unbearable Appendix Pain Inspite Of An Appendectomy?

I had an appendectomy 3 weeks ago & I am still in a lot of pain . I have tried all of the OTC pain meds & they re not helping me . I have already went through my narcotic pain med prescriptions & my doctor said he cannot prescribe anymore but I cannot deal with the pain . What should I do ?

Hello
As you mentioned that there is pain ( according to you appendicectomy ) in right lower quadrant area.
May be due to following possibilities.
1 Either appendix was not removed during surgery or it was not a pain of appendix.
2 This time pain may be due to some surgical hematoma at the site of surgery ( or a after surgery ) .
3 Pain may be due to right renal calculus or some remanent of surgery , diagnosis can be confirmed by MRI the effected region.
In my opinion consult one more surgeon and get his opinion.
