What Should I Do For Painful, Bruised And Lump On Little Finger?
Hiya, I was at school today and knocked my arm on the side level with my little finger. I have got a bruise and a lump and it is really tender, I've tried putting ice on but I can't as the weight if the ice pack is to painful! I've told my mum but she doesn't seem to bothered but she doesn't know how much it hurts! What should I do?
I am empathetic to the painful, bruised and lump on little finger after injury. As I can got knocked over finger and is extremely swollen with great pain.
Do not try applying over the counter products as these can further aggravate the situation. Do not pinch or pop the area as it can further aggravate the condition because if the injury is deep enough then secondary infection over the same is quite be possible.
I specifically suggest you to keep the hand raised above the heart level so that the swelling should not occur. It will also reduce the swelling in next 24 hours.
Do go for tetanusvaccination within 24 hours so that any serious side effect can be prevented.
Take care.
