hi my name is ria iam 63 years old my feeet area had some crack like sores and than it was very itchy know its all healed but has dark black scares and it is also increase towards my upper legs what do you think it might be I am not diabetic have high blood pressure and rthats under control with meds

Thanks for the query,

You might have developed fungal infection.

The area of groin around anus is very moist and is prone to develop these infections.

Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.

Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe.

These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection.

Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
