Hi,

As you had green sputum as well as blood. This may be sign of infection of airway. Hence you may need a course of antibiotic under guidance of your doctor. Blood in the sputum, is also an indication of a requirement of imaging of the lungs for any lesion in the lungs- infective, inflammatory or neoplastic or any further testing, if required.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
