What Should I Do To Avoid Pimples ?

hi doctor, I am chitresh and I am 17 yrs old. it has been more than 2 yrs. that I am suffering with pimples on the face but recently i am starting to have some kind of acne on my back and shoulders. it is concerning me allot and i was wondering if you knew that does oversleeping or biting nails cause any of this. and do tell what should i avoid to eat

You are having acne since two years you need a course of antibiotics , retinoids and multivitamin tablets.This will clear up the lesions on your back also.



Oversleeping or biting nails has no relation with acne.

Please visit a Dermatologist for the same and plan of treatment.

hi chitresh, acne is not because of oversleeping or biting nails.but to prevent acne ur suppose to do following thngs
1 wash ur face daily vid soap 3 or 4 times,
2 hairs should be dandruff free
3 nail hygiene should be maintained
4 proper sleep
5 abt diet ofcourse u sud nt eat spicy n too much oily food, eat one fruit daily like orange or u can eat 1 tomato daily, this contains antioxidant n good for skin
n if u have very troubling acne consult any dermatologist for isotretinoin therapy but pls dnt take ny medication without doctors prescription.

Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum,
Acne at this age is common and one can get it over back and shoulders too...there are lot of medicines available for permanent cure.You can start of with taking antibiotics oral and topical...If acne is very sever then one can go for isotretinoin tablets ..which are given only after proper investigations and precautions.Its a wonderful medicine for acne.Its also very important to use a anti acne soap daily ...avoid using any moisturizers...avoid pricking of pimples (that would leave marks)...drink plenty of water..and take good sleep in night...Consult t good dermatologist for the above medicines.
