What Should Be Adequate Length Of Cervix During Pregnancy?

I just wanted to know what should be the adequate length of cervix so that there won't be any problem in reaching full term. My previous gynec suspected that I have a short cervix during the 13th week of pregnancy but when my present gynec examined it manually on 18th and then on 22nd week, he said it is just adequate. Please advise me if there is concern and if further investigation is needed.
thanks
