What Should Be Done After Removing A Tick From Outer Vaginal Lip?

I removed a small tick from my 10 year old daughters outer vagina lip. We have tried, Savlon cream, castor oil and zinc cream. She is beside herself as it's so itchy. Should I take her to the doctor - is there a more effective treatment? Thinking of trying bi-carb soda.
