What Should Be Done For A Hurting Throat With White And Black Spots?

For the past three days I had intermittent high fevers that last 3 hours or so then subside to a lower fever, in the last day the fever had mostly subsided and I have not gotten the high fever. Now my entire throat hurts terribly when I swallow and I had just looked into the mirror and noticed some white and black spots in my mouth on the tonsil area. Should I be worried?

In the present situation of yours, if I were your doctor, I would advise you for a throat swab culture and sensitivity. Till the report arrives, I would start a broad spectrum antibiotic for the infection. I would also advise you for an anti septic gurgle like povidone iodine gargle, an anti allergic, and an anti inflammatory if need be. i would change or continue the same antibiotic depending on the report of culture and sensitivity.
