What Should Be Done For Blood Pressure Ranging 155/78 To 200/100?

I am trying to decide if I should go to the hospital over my high blood pressure or if you can give me an idea. I have been having high blood pressure for a few days now. It has been running from 155/78 to 200/100, with the highest at night time. I have no other symptons however on Saturday I we to Urgent care and while there I had an EKG done. It came back normal... I do not know if the High blood pressure is tied to this as I do not have any symptons at this time. I do plan on seeing my regular doctor tomorrow. How long can a person have High blood pressure like this before it caused trouble. I an taking both Metoprolol and Losartan/HCT. But obviously this is not working.

Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns. The normal range of blood pressure should be 140/90 when you are taking Metoprolol and Losartan/HCT as an anti-hypertensive medicine. So, you should change your medicine from XXXX plain to SR(Sustain release) form twice a day(day and night) and XXXX +XXXX (HCT) also twice a day and increase the dosage by 1.5% of the current dosage.
Start on these changes and get back to me in 7 to 10 days. Wish you good health.
