What Should Be Done For Recurrent Cough With Fever And Elevated Heart Rate In A Child?

Hi, please my 3 year old son has been coughing on and off for the past 5 months and we ve been to the hospital several times because of it now he seems to be getting better but this dawn I woke up to him shivering and when I picked him up I noticed that his temperature was high and he told me his heart is paining him so I rushed him to the hospital and he was given IV fluids which reduced his temperature. All his lab works came out negative so we were sent home with paracetamol and antibiotics but this afternoon his temperature is back up and his heart rate has gone back up again, what should I do?
