hi mam/sir,its very good that you have mentioned baby's age, weight which are very essential in pediatric dosing.she has symptoms of a viral illness with low grade fever.usually only paracetamol is enough for mild to moderate rise in temperature.as you have asked regarding ibugesic plus,i shall gertainly give you the dosing which is as follows:4-5ml/dose every 6hrs is recommended.(let me explain you the calculation):
1)ibuprofen 6mg/kg/dose and paracetamol 10-15mg/kg/dose every 6hrs is recommended.
2)as ibugesic plus contains 100mg(ibuprofen) + 162.5mg(paracetamol) in 5ml. it comes to 4-5ml/dose.
let me also mention about plain paracetamol(P-250) it contains 250mg in 5ml.3ml of it can be given every 6hrly.
i wish a very speedy recovery of your angel.any other questions, please let me know.its my pleasure to be of any help to you.thank you.take care.bye.
