What Should Be The Normal Result For D-dimer Test?

I went to er with symptoms of feet swelling,swollen ft arm,an unknown bruising on my rt arm with pain in rt arm also.the er took chest xray,EKG an ct scan an sob.all test were normal except my d diner was 1187.00 should I be concerned?what else could elevate this test?
