What Should Be The Normal Value For Blood Sugar?

I frequently get light headed and shaky, I recently checked my blood sugar at the demand of my sister and it was 67 before eating an actual meal. This morning i checked after eating a light breakfast and it was 89. I am just wondering if this is anything i should be concerned with and maybe take to my doctor.

Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir/madam i can understand your concern
in my opinion you might be having a condition called reactive hypoglycemia.
reactive hypoglycemia is phenomenon where your blood sugar will be pushed to a lower level after taking food.
this is due to insulin resistance which is seen in very early stages of diabetes called as pre diabetes.
Due to insulin resistance there will be excessive insulin production and also mis match in insulin release and glucose absorption.
the good news is this condition is reversible with weight loss and maintaining BMI close to 24.5.
i suggest you to see your doc and go for GTT for better evaluation of the case
Regards
