Hello,
I am 56, 5.0, and am 170 and climbing, cannot seem to lose weight, sometimes get tingley hand, and tired. been on thyroid pills for a few years, Eltroxin (0.50) No doctors are available in my area at the moment, i got my TSH checked a couple of weeks ago, and it says my TSH level is 3.10, was wondering if I should have a stronger dosage?

Hi welcome to HCM....

Normal range of TSH : 0.5 to 5.0 mU / L....

Here you are taking eltroxin for hypothyroid ....

Your TSH level is within range .....

Aim is to keep TSH below 5 .....

Here you can continue same dosage of eltroxin ....

Repeat your TSH after three month. ....

If still going high than only dose will be increased .

Just now according to report I don't think for change of dose at present ...

You can discuss these with your physician when you consult ...

Hope I have solved your concern ....
