Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, it appears to be the tenosinovitis of the thumb.it is a collection of pus in the synovial membrane of the thumb.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment .
You may need to have an incision and drainage of the thumb.
i usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, ornidazole, serratiopeptidase, diclofenac , and paracetamol.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
