What Should I Do To Overcome An Indent Caused By Hitting?
my 13 month old son hit the lip of our shed about 4 weeks ago and after swelling and of course no head injury there is still an indent when he makes certain faces, its about 11/2 inch long. I was wondering will this go away? when I press on this it feels like a hard line on his forehead. Is there anything I can do?
I understood your concern, and your son has got post traumatic scar. It may or may not go away with time. Although since your son is 13 months old his scar will become much less prominent as he grows up. In most causes it never causes any problem except slight cosmetic disturbance. I'd suggest you wait
There is no medicine that can make scar so away, although you may try silicon creams as they reduce the appearance of scar. Also moisturize the skin well. There are various other procedures to remove the scar, once he grows up and if the scar still troubles you, you can explore that.
Hope I helped.
